At the Voters’ Meeting on Wednesday evening, the following was approved:
Recommendation: Proceed to Build the Brown Street campus expansion as part of St. Matthew’s single-site ministry plan. The expansion includes: Approximately 31,635 Sq. Ft for sanctuary, fellowship/outreach center, pastoral/administrative offices, ministry group meeting spaces, Bible study and Sunday School spaces, commons/cafeteria, music/band rooms, kitchen, and approximately 8,517 Sq. Ft. for six additional elementary school classrooms (two completed, four “substantially shelled” but not completed). Additional landscaping around the campus property. 140 additional parking spaces, including approximately (35) ADA/Handicapped and Senior member spaces in close proximity to the front entrance of the gathering space and sanctuary.
Pursue groundbreaking in Spring 2022 with the assistance of Catalyst Construction at a cost not to exceed $11M.
