Support the Rennicke Family

Show support for Evan Rennicke and his family

Evan Rennicke is a fifth grader at St. Matthew’s School and his family attends St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. After experiencing weeks of migraines and other symptoms, on October 19, an MRI revealed a tumor was growing in Evan’s brain. On October 20, he underwent two surgeries to remove the brain tumor.  On October 26, the pathology reports came back, and Evan’s tumor was malignant medulloblastoma.

In the coming weeks, Evan will be traveling to Northwestern Medicine Cancer Center in Warrenville, IL. Evan will undergo treatments for six weeks, five days a week.

St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church and School is raising funds to help support the Rennicke family during this challenging time.  Donations will go directly to Evan’s parents, Andrew and Chelsie Rennicke, to lessen the financial burden while they support Evan during his cancer treatment and continue to care for their two other children, Owen and Avery.

If you are willing and able to support the Rennicke family, click HERE and select “Shepherd’s Staff (Rennicke)” from the Fund drop-down menu. All donations are tax deductible.

Please pray fervently for Evan to be restored to complete health and for Andrew and Chelsie to remain steadfast in God’s unfailing love.  Pray that the Rennicke family feels the Lord’s loving hands resting upon them. May we all be reminded that God is our refuge and strength in times of trouble.

Joshua 1:9  “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified and do not be overwhelmed, because the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
