We believe strongly in the importance of Christian giving, or to be more accurate, in giving a portion of our blessings back to God to express our gratitude for everything our Savior has done for us. The members of St. Matthew’s give regular and generous freewill offerings to carry out our local ministry in Oconomowoc and also support the worldwide mission efforts of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
Members use their envelopes to give offerings as a part of every worship service. Visitors and guests are welcome to participate, but should not feel obligated to do so.
If you would like to give your weekly offerings via electronic bank transfer, please fill out this Electronic Giving Authorization Form (.pdf) and drop off at the church office. If you have any questions, contact George Zaferos, our business administrator.
In the fall of 2016, St. Matthew’s embarked on a capital campaign to move our ministry forward (hence the campaign theme, Forward) by constructing a brand new Lutheran elementary school, preschool and child care center. The address of our soon-to-be-open campus is 1650 Brown Street, which is less than a mile north of Piggly Wiggly on the northwest side of Oconomowoc.
