Our Mission
Compelled by the love of Christ, St. Matthew’s seeks to reach out to our families, community and world, using Law and Gospel to make disciples, growing and nurturing them in their Christian faith and life.
Our Vision
The vision of St. Matthew’s is to nurture students and their families by providing a high-quality, Christ-centered education as well as spiritual growth opportunities and encouragement; and to serve as a strong outreach arm for our congregation.
Our Objectives
We will use the following objectives as a means to check our direction as we start each new school year, and as we assess ourselves at the close of each school year.
- Teach students God’s Word and show them how to apply it in their lives.
- Provide children with a safe, Christian school community; a place in which words and actions reflect a belief in God’s love for all people.
- Provide academic excellence in teaching the elementary and junior high school curriculums in the light of God’s Word so that students are prepared to succeed in high school academically, socially, and spiritually.
- Nurture our families with the powerful Word of God so that they continue to grow in their faith and in active service to the LORD as part of this Christian congregation.
- Aggressively reach out into the community using the opportunities and resources available to us in order to convince families to consider a Christ-centered education.
- Enroll the highest possible number of St. Matthew’s member children.
