Emilee Nemmers, Fifth Grade
I am blessed to teach fifth grade at St. Matthews Lutheran School! I also will be able to direct the Ring Praise handbell choir and coach the cross country team.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Martin Luther College. Teaching with technology in the classroom has been an exciting avenue as a teacher and I love preparing students for the future.
As an alumnus of St. Matthews Lutheran, I believe that God was preparing me to be a teacher my entire life! Receiving a Christ-centered education for grade school, high school at Luther Prep, and college at Martin Luther College, strengthened and equipped me to spread the Word!
I served as an English teacher, dorm supervisor, and track/cross country coach at Luther Prep for two blessed years. I loved the energy of those high schoolers. Then, I got married and followed my husband, Andrew, out to Colorado this past year for his Vicar year! While he trained to be a pastor, I was able to teach grades 4-6, 7-8 English, and K-8 Physical education. I loved my Colorado teaching experience! Now, we are back in Wisconsin for one year while Andrew finishes school. I am so excited to teach the students of St. Matthews this year and work alongside the amazing faculty here!
My husband and I love to do all things outdoors! Running, hiking, snow skiing, water skiing, biking, marathons, and triathlons are all opportunities to get outside and enjoy God’s creation! I also enjoy playing piano, oboe, ukulele, and taking pictures. I’m an avid Badgers, Packers, and Brewers fan and am looking forward to being home!
God has poured down blessings on St. Matthews and the start of our new school will help us reach so many souls with the life-saving Gospel!
