Deborah Schramm, Eighth Grade Assist
I am a part-time teacher, assisting Mr. Ziel in his eighth grade classroom and teaching upper grade language arts. I also help out in the areas of music, forensics, and anywhere else I can assist.
Since graduating from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, I have spent 35+ years of teaching, all at St. Matthew’s. I have taught at all levels, mainly in our Fifth Grade classroom. I hold a Wisconsin State teaching license and strive to grow professionally through continuing education and reading professional publications. I have welcomed student teachers from Martin Luther College into my classroom for many years.
My husband, Stuart, is a semi-retired construction worker. He especially enjoys building churches and schools with Builders for Christ. His most recent volunteer project is our own St. Matthew’s First Steps and Elementary School. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters, Stephanie (David) Olson, Hendersonville, TN; Stacy (Noah) Eckl, Ixonia; and Rachel (Chris) Scannell, Milwaukee. Eight grandchildren bring special joy to our lives!
God has blessed us immensely, in our family and in our church and school. I thank Him for the opportunities He continues to provide, allowing us to share that love with others!
